Hope "Cpc 2004", or one of you smart folks can also solve my Serious Error message, Category 102, Event 1003.

I read the Feb. 2006 entries. I have no blue screen, but reboots out of the blue when I am doing nothing special, then get the Serious Error message wanting me to report to Microsoft, and with info that I could supply if wanted to you.

I don't know what an Intel Accelator driver is. I do have an Intel CPU, and just replaced it's generic fan with an Intel before this started happening.

As for sending minidumps, I can't find them. The XP Pro search box gives me a not found in searching for windows/minidumps. So, I guess I need help in finding them, and how to compress and send them within this posting box.

Any help is MUCH appreciated!

Go to Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer and check the SYSTEM Area for errors or warnings and post here.

Event Viewer data:

Well, this computer's harddrive was about 10 days ago refed my data, with a OS change from 2000 to XP Pro, V2.

It seemed to work fine until we exchanged a bad CPU fan, and plugged in a new bios chip received from the MSI folks. (My repairman did the bios screen stuff.)

The first of three of these serious error reboots happened on it's first startup thereafter, then a couple of times the next day, but none in the last two days.

There are something like 40 red error lines in the Event Viewer System Errors, but only 3 that have the Cat. 102, Event 1003 listed, and the dates, and times match the occurrences. 1 is Dhcp, 4 are Service Ctrl Mgr., 1 is DCOM, & 18 are cdrom.

There are about 85 yellow warnings, most being Win defend, 21, Cdrom, 2 plug play mgr., and 6 print, (printer problems solved.)

Anyway, clicking on the first 2 of the red error messages are the same:

Description:
Error Code 1000000a, parameter1 01a7cff4, parameter 2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter 4 804e65de. There are lots of Data bytes, or words below this.

The 3rd error code listing 1002, 10003, changes as follows:

parameter 1 00000010, ........parameter 3 00000001, parameter 4 804fe2db.

Many thanks!!

The event IDs that you get around the time of the reboot, list all the information with those posted (Especially the Event ID and the source of each one). This will help me with finding out what exactly is your problem. Include any details besides the parameters.

4th reboot just happened.

I am not sure what you need, but I sure appreciate your efforts big time!

The last, and 4th reboot just happened. After the reboot, the Serious Error box said click here, and this is the info listed:

BCCode: 1000000a BCP1: 01A7CFF4 BCP2: 00000002 BCP3: 00000000 BCP4: 804E65DE OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 2_0 Product: 256-1

Error Report Contents

The following files will be included in this report:
C:DOCUME~1Ray/Locals~1Temp/WERbf59.dir00/mini022407-01.dmp

C:DOCUME~1Ray/Locals~1/Temp/WERbf59.dir00/Sysdata.xml

I cannot find on a search any part of the above 2 files except one section that asked me what program to open with. I also changed the wording as I found on the internet to the longer versions that the site said would be on my harddrive, but it is not.

And this:

I realized that the box given me after the reboot had a clipboard copy button, so here is the pasted info:

Event Source: System Error

Here is a site that will give you information on all the error codes (IE: 0x00000000a, and the microsoft articles that are tied to them). You will most likely find your answer here, and when you want to look at the article, you will see them as M824249 or something similar. Instead of clicking the links (cause they will ask you to register) just copy the number part (IE: 824249) and paste that in the search bar at www.microsoft.com and that will take you directly to that article. Hope this helps you solve your problems. Good luck and post back if you need further assistance.

Search box is giving me nothing.

I assume you mean this link:
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Using it, I choose Windows Operating Systems from the drop down list, and I tried all kinds of error codes from my error messages, and nothing! "Nothing found", over, and over. I am certainly trying to help myself, but it is not working out yet.

Search results:

Well, I tried pasting the whole url in the search for files and folders, choosing the all, or part box, and it finds nothing. I choose to paste starting with 1Ray, and same thing. Then I used only mini022407-01.dmp, and got a file, but I had found this before, and as before, it gave me a box asking whether to choose a program to open, or search the web for something to open it! How do I access it?

Many thanks!
