Hi guys, I hope you can give me some advice. We just set up a pretty nifty media and gaming system, only problem is the resoluton. I have a 50" Samsung DLP monitor, which is HDTV ready, connected with a DVI cable. So, it should go up to 1920x1080... which it does, but the image is so huge that it hangs off the sides of the screen... I can't figure it out. At 1280x720 it is fine, actually has a little black at the edges. Also, up to 1280x720 my TV gives access to a PC image menu that basically just controls the position of the pictures and lets to stretch it to get rid of the little gaps at the edges. But, above 1280x720 that menu goes away and I can only control 16:9 vs 4:3. Any ideas? Is it just the type of TV I have?

thanks!

sounds like the problem lies with your tv - i'd check out the manual to see what your options are for the desired resolution.
