i'm having a simular problem when im runing the game it will crash in the middle of playing. gives me a messege: MS Visual c++ runtime registery error abnormal program termination.

im running a P4 1.4 128mb ram with a Nvidia TnT 2 M64 Pro

i have tryed re installing the game the newest drivers and directx but i have the same problem.

does anyone have any sugestions please.

driver problem i suspect.

you have the exact same gfx card as me.
isnt it a lame card? YES. anyway back to subject..

click on START go to Control panels and then System.

click on the "hardware tab" and you see 3 blocks.
look at the middle one, it says "driver signing" and "device manager" -- go to device manager.

3rd one down is Display Adapters.
this is basically your GFX card part.

yours is probabbly at NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 Pro
because you have a crappy pc from 2000 like me.

click on the "driver" tab. notice the "unistall driver" part.
remember this.

now go to http://www.nvidia.com and find the correct driver.
dont know what it's called. mine is something like...

"NVIDIA 2000/XP Display Driver"
but its definately not one of the latest drivers for up2 date gfx cards.

try searching google for the correct driver for "NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 Pro"

try a search like.....
( driver update "NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 Pro" )
without "()"

thats all i can think of.
hopefully this will sort you out.

extra tip.
REMEMBER WHAT I TOLD YOU TO REMEMBER? GOOD...
when you download the correct driver for the gfx card.

you need to click on "Uninstall Driver" before you install the new one. otherwise it'll muck everything up.

Frustrated

Let me throw my hat in the ring of pissed off MOHPA owners. I think that I may have actually been able to play the game once or twice when I first bought it, and I loved it! I then built a new rig, loaded a new copy of the game on it, and haven't been able to play it once. When I say crash I mean this: The EA splash, THX splash and Intel splash all play correctly. The game audio begins and the sepia toned pictures come on. After the beginning of the third photo (G.I. in a tent) the progress bar shoots all the way across, the audio stops and the screen goes quickly black and back to desktop.
My rig configuration seems solid with a 3.0 P4 , 1gig of RAM, Maxtor 60 gig drive, Nvidia Geforce 6600 PCI Express, Creative Audigy 2, and XP PRO SP2. I have followed advice and have all current drivers installed, I set my page file to a min of 1.5 and max of 4.0 and my bios looks fine. I am ready to throw this rig out the window...HELP!
