Memory Help?

if i posted this in the wrong forum tell me.

i got a Pavilion Ze 2000 note book last year and i finally got a memory upgrade for it. using 256x2... but my system is only picking up 384 MB in System Properties and 512 in my BIOS. Can anyone tell me how to get full use out of my mem?

this is in the wrong forum, but im not an admin to move this so i will help you anyway =). The bios is the biggest concern but since its reading the right memory amounts i dont think you have to worry about anything. as far as i know in system properties, it will only show what memory is not being utilized by other programs etc.

I think that the Memory might be being used by my graphics when i think about it. thanks for the reply
