Memory read wrong

Just relized today when booting up that my pc6400 was being read as pc4300, and was running in single channel mode. Its Ocz memory, and i have a p5w DH Deluxe motherboard..Help would be great, thanks.

Checked the BIOS settings correct?
Check the actual memory stick itself in another PC6400 compatible mobo etc?
