Microsoft Internet Explorer Problems

I have encountered this problem last night when I open a new window in ie6 the first window closes.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

I have to agree with Peddant, that you`re much better off using Firefox, except for Windows updates.

However, that doesn`t fix your IE issue.

First thing to try is redownloading IE from the Microsoft download center, and reinstall it.

Also, scan your system for viruses/malware etc, just in case.

I didn`t mention uninstalling anything.

Just go to the link I gave you, download the file, and install it. See if it solves your problem.

I suppose you could try a Windows repair as per this thread HERE

If you decide to do the repair. Please be aware that you will need to update your windows again, as doing a repair install will wipe all your windows updates.

Nevermind I solved the problem myself. Thanks anyway.
BTW I just Uninstalled Yahoo! Toolbar and presto! done.
