I guess this isnt really as bad as those errors that keep appearing..
but i have this problem...where everytime my computer starts up...they will do a scan disk or disk check..a blue screen if ur using XP pro...
they said they are scanning your computer for errors for file on E drive NTFS or something liddat...
and u may stop the scan by pressing any key...
HoW can I actually stop the scan from appearing?...

PS:anyway how do I clear minor errors..like those msges appearing after a faliure in operation of programs..where they keep appearing ( optional to answer)

Thanks a lot ppl...
U deserve it..

Click start programmes accessories system tools scheduled tasks and see if the disk check is there. If it is you can remove it.

I`m assuming your using XP?

I am using XP...but it keeps appearing I cant help it..
I tried howard's way...
but I didnt find any schedules tasks..
how is this?

checkdisk occurs whenever startup

(Sorry I had to repeat my qns cos I didnt receive enough help)

Whenever I try to start up my computer..
it shows a blue screen check disk...
It checked on Disk E:/ and file NTFS
for file consistencty and all that..
I went to microsoft for help but I believe there had nothing to do with my reg files...
Could anyone help?

Once Windows is booted, try to launch a full scan with the repair features enabled on that drive (I assume it's the same drive every time).

Didou..
I have gone to Commmand Prompt..and type chkdsk/F
it has fixed the disk of C
but it doesnt help still keeps appearing..
the problem is of disk E...
and there are no reported errors of both chkdsks...
Is there any other way?
