Two solutions -
1.Delete the Autorun.inf file in the root directory of the drive.
Enable Windows to Show all files
From My Computer, right-click the drive-letter, and choose explore
Locate the file named Autorun.inf (in the drive's root directory)
Delete the file Autorun.inf if found
Logoff and login back to your user account.
2.Reset the drive icon settings in the registry
Click Start, Run and type Regedit.exe
Navigate to :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ DriveIcons \ <drive>
Backup the branch to a file, and then delete the <drive> key
Navigate to :
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ Applications \ explorer.exe \ Drives \ <drive>
Backup and delete the <drive> key
Close Registry Editor and restart Windows.
