Hey, within this upcoming week I am hoping to order and build a new computer, and I was just wondering what motherboard I should get. I am planning on overclocking, so i have heard that the p35 NB is good to get for that, but I'm not sure about that, so any verification on that would be nice. My other system specs will be as follows:
- Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
- Patriot Extreme Performance 4GB(4 x 1GB)
- Aerocool ZeroDBA 620W Power Supply
- 8800 GT
- Seagate Barracuda 7200.10
- LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner

PS. Is this a good setup for a new computer, or not?

The only thing I would change in that setup would be the PSU. The Corsair VX550W is available for cheap after rebate at ZipZoomFly so consider that instead. It provides a hefty 41W on a single +12V rail which will be more than enough for your system. As for the motherboard, the Abit IP35 Pro, the ASUS P5K Deluxe and the GigaByte P35C-DS3R are excellent choices. I personally have the P5K Deluxe and it's superb.
