Help me save my computer, or I'm going to throw it out the window. Here a while back, if I would try and get on the internet or send a fax, the modem would start dialing the number and just reboot. I thought it was fluke because it quit, and now it's doing it again and driving me crazy.
I've bought a new modem thinking the old one was just wore out, but that didn't work. After reading another post about random reboots,, could it be a RAM problem? I don't have the first clue where to look to fix this problem.
Second, Somehow my boot.ini file says I have 2 OS's and I only have one. How can I get rid of the 2nd OS, that I don't have, in my boot file and not destroy everything?
