im using an old pci graphics card so i can see but when i try to hook the monitor the the leadtek card i get nothing...i have the drivers installed...
the fan is running and when i hook the card up to a tv i can see the windows xp wallpaper but cant do anything....

It just wont work with my monitor

Do you have both the PCI-e and the PCI graphics card in at the same time? If so, that could be the problem because by default the main type of graphics card set in the bios is integrated, but if you installed a pci card before the pci-e, the main would be set to pci. The motheboard may not support disabling all the PCI-e graphics devices. Try looking into the BIOS and see if PCI is selected or PCI-e.

i went to bios and set it so the pci-e will start first but then neither video cards sent a signal to the monitor...so i had to clear cmos...now im back to the same problem...

Are you sure you plugged the PCI-e video card into the PCI-e slot? Is it secure?
