i have an issue with my monitor, heres what happens

- Turn it on
- Screen displays for about 3 seconds
- Screen goes black and the green light turns orange

i dont have this problem with my other monitor but this one is bigger so i would like to use it if someone could help me figure it out

So you're saying another monitor works fine when plugged in? But this one doesn't?

Only thing I can think of is if, when Windows starts to load, the resolution and refresh rate are to much for it, so it goes blank. But usually the monitor will have an error on it like "out of range" or "out of sync" or something when it does this.

Maybe it's just going bad? But if not, use the good monitor, and then set your resolution down to something fairly standard like 1024x768 and 70hz refresh. Then try it again.
