I upgraded from 6100mcp mobo (GA-K8N51GMF-9)

to
NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra / SLI GA-K8NF9 Ultra(Rev 2.x)

new one has something called SLI chip set (but only 1 16x slot and 2 1x slots)
what is the difference between these 2 mobos ?

the SLI chipset means that the second board you mentioned has the ability to support 2 nvidia graphics cards
