mouse and keyboard not responding

when windows starts the mouse and keyboard dont work. if i unplug the mouse and plug it back in then it will work but it wont work for the keyboard.

We need to know what version of windows you are using?
What type of keyboard and mouse (ps2 or usb)?
What your pc is?
For example, is it a pc or a laptop?

Have you replaced your keyboard and mouse recently? Any other symptoms at all?

no i havnt replaced them recently. thats the only problem.
