I Have Watched them all b4, but now (i just had a problem with "My Downloads" folder not opening and saying the folder was empty, (thats 162gbs missing yet only 20gb remain) but i fixed that) some of them just wont work...
...I Use VLC Media Player 0.8.6a, or b. All Movie Files Are .AVI files
And they wont work on Nero ShowTime 2, and i know they worked with that player, too, and they wont work with that ether.

I will Say this again: they "ALL" Work 2-Days Ago! ALL 200+ Movies

Please HeLp !

All moves will not work with the following media players:
Windows Media Player 10 or 9
VLC Media player 0.8.6a or b
Nero ShowTime 2

All Movies Are A Complete 700mb To 500mb Full Length Movie.

Please Help!!

And a window pops up on VLC saying:

Unable to open 'D:\4700394e3b0c8d241acdd2900cc00166\My Downloads\Harry Potter And The Sorcerers Stone CD2.avi'

It's a sign that you should wait and buy legit media - or maybe the files are actually corrupted. How did you fix your invisible files problem?

yeah lncppa is most likeley right, ive come across this problem occasional, its when yiu love the files then somehoe undo the fault but its welded in corrupt and there might not be anything yu can do :/

Play them where they work

Do you have a seperate partition or hard drive for movies ?
You should to stay away from Windows control.
I guess you know theres 2 types of avi's . Windows original
or Divx.Try Divx Player.
http://www.divx.com/

But these posts on "missing files" doesn't add up.
I never lose control of where mine are.
Movies on D and Music on E.
:D

Hi Zipperman, My 400+ movies are on a separate Drive, and windows used to be on it but i had a bad problem with it... i tried to reformat it, but since its a SATA drive i messed it up and didn't use my Bootable SlipStream DVD Correctly. so, there is a weird half OS that dosent work so i use it
for storage.

and my movies are not legally protected by copyrights.

thanks for your post xjoesullix but my movies aren't corrupt.

And LNCpapa why would i need to buy legit media when i can download for free and the movies are just fine?
Someone posted and i fixed my problem with the "invisble media" this way:

Most access denied messages are usually solved by logging in as

administrator (if your not already) and "Taking ownership" of the files/folders,as described HERE

The reason it says 0 bytes is because Windows doesn`t think you have

the rights to know this information. You have to tell it that you do

My movies also cannot be moved out of the folder:

Access is denied.
make sure the disk is not full or write protected
and that the file is not currently in use.
