MSI and optical drives.

Hey guys, I am having a problem with my MSI 915P/G socket T(LGA 775) mobo. When I got my HD and my optical drvie in and go to setup windows, it laods a bit and gives me an error, or it will tell me a file is corrupted. I have tried setting up the HD and optical drvie in all sorts of confgiurations to no avail. I need some help, thanks.

Have you tried flashing the bios to the latest version?

what configuration are you using? is the hard drive IDE or SATA? are you using an original XP disk or a Copy? the error sounds like a faulty disk or a problem optical drive.
