I just had to reinstall windows to try to overcome errors by this installer,
now, when I try to update, the installer downloads first, then fails to
install. windows xp home sp2. Any help much appreciated!

I found two msi.dll files with different version numbers on them as a result of
a search. what i'd like to know is, if i delete these two(possibly corrupted
and conflicting files, will the already downloaded and saved msi.exe file re-
create a proper msi.dll?
