asked for system disk no ram check
only detects stiffy drive

MSI motherboards need to be configured differenty form other motherboards.

If this is your first build check to see if your power cords are set right.

Does your power supply buzz?
If it doesn't that's your problem.
Does the CPU have a bent pin?
After you put a cpu in you cant take it out.

Don't blame it on the motherboard, but as for me.

I hate my asus and it hates me.
