Multimedia Audio Controller device driver

Hi

I recently formatted my computer's hard drive and lost the multimedia audio controller device driver. Can anyone tell me where to download it from. I need it urgently. Plse help!

You can download EVEREST Ultimate Edition to find out lots of things about your computer specs.

If your computer is a brand name like Dell or HP or other, you can just post the make and model number.
You will also need to provide your Operating System (Xp or Vista)

Once you supply as much information on your specs as you can, I can then most likely help you with a driver download link for your sound driver.

Please reply back with your system specs.

Please go here: http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html?pageDisplay=drivers and click on the black box, that says "Start Detection"
(You must be using Internet Explorer to see this button)
Once you are taken to all your drivers page, look through them to find Audio or Sound; and then download and install the package.
You may also want to download all your drivers too.

For your convenience the page will also show you what computer you have, which you might want to update your Profile with. (I'd suggest it would be wise to do this, before posting any more support questions too).

Doesn`t Help

it bring`s me to Realtek AC'97 Driver & Application A3.41 for Win98SE/WinME/Win2k/WinXP - which i had allready installed and it failed thru the install ( i said Continue Anyway ) but it doesn`t work , i had installed Nvidia and RealTecHigh Defenition Audio Driver , and it doesnt work too.

Before posting (and this is really pointed at everyone) please type in your System Specs to your Profile (the more details the better)

In the mobo field, it is better to put in your Computer manufacturer an model number, by the way.

The reason you need to create a new thread is because I might suggest that you remove your drivers in Safe mode, and the other member might do this instead of you.

What shall i do , not one of this drivers works on my ASUS A7N8X motherboard Realtek AC'97 Driver & Application A3.41 for Win98SE/WinME/Win2k/WinXP , Nvidia4.09 Audio Driver , RealTecHigh Defenition Audio Driver , Win@KXP 81.95 ( this one doesnt install - its from CD ) help me , for this moment i unistall everythig that was close to audio and video driver .
