My computer Freezes and crashs randomly.

Erm.. Lets get to the point, My computer freezes whenever i try to play games such as Half Life 2. Now, this is not a game problem, Because it ran fine on my old computer, Which was more.. How to put it.. ****. Well.. whenever i try to play Call of Duty 2 it runs fine and never freezes. Whenever i try to play Half Life 2 when i first get on my computer, thats when it freezes. But if i leave it for 20 - 30 mins, and it has warmed up, it runs ok, but i still have the odd freezes now and then. It never freezes at desktop, just in Half Life 2 and Habbo Hotel.

Please, Help me

Go to mobo website and check for chipset driver updates.
Also download the latest video card drivers for your card.

Can you give us your system specs: mobo, RAM, video card, OS, PSU watts and make, how many amps on the 12 and 5 Volt rails. Check this off the label. See the piuc in my sig line below.

Update your bios and mobo driver, also graphics card drivers. Make sure your hard ware is not overheating.
