"my computer" icon dissapeared

Hi,

I installed Kotor 2 just now and at the end of the installation I chose for a shortcut
on my desktop but when I got back to the desktop I saw that "my computer" icon
just dissapeared and was replaced with the kotor 2 shortcut.

(running winxp home edition)
I tried to change the view for start menu from classic to the winxp start menu
and then back again.
with the "modern" start menu its there, in the menu but when I go back to classic it doesn't
put the "my computer" icon on the desktop but it does put the "my network" icon
on it.

How can I get the "my computer" icon back.

Right-click on your desktop then click on properties. Go to the "desktop" tab then click on "personalize your dekstop". In the general section you will see a list of icons that you can chose to display on your desktop. Simply tick "My Computer" & then Apply/OK.
