First things first.
Specs:
Processor - Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.40GHz (2 CPUs)
Comp - Gateway 700 GR running Windows XP
Video Card - VisionTek Radeon x1300
RAM - 2 Gigs.
I also have the latest DirectX.
Now onto my problem... While running Vanguard I averages 10 FPS inside and outside the city with 1 gig. After talknig to some people I decided I needed more RAM. So I bought one more gig. Now with that gig, I average 20-25 FPS in the city (where FPS should be lower) and still 10 FPS in the open areas outside the city (Where FPS should be higher) This doesn't make any sense to me. Also my video settings whether I move them up or down do not affect my FPS more than 2-3 as long as I leave the big killers off.
My question is why am I still having FPS problems? Even on the lowest settings I still get 12 FPS outside the cities. I should be above 30 easily.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
