My HJT Log

Kindly Help! All my Network connections have dissappeared. I cant install or de-install any programms. I am asked to update Windows Installer which also can not be updated. I cant run any antivirus software.
What can I do?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

The only things that need fixing in your HJT log are these.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad). Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page =
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

Click on the fix checked button.

Close HJT.

Other than the above, your HJT log is clean.

However, there are infections that don`t show up in HJT. With that in mind, go HERE and follow the instructions exactly.

Hi Howard,
thanks for the reply. Ive run HJT again and followed your instructions. However ive got no better results. The problem is that i have no access to the internet (all network connections are down) and worse still cant install any antivirus sofware.

Check in your task manager for any of these processes.

client.exe, down_server.exe, prorat.exe, prorat_client.exe, server.exe

Please let me know, if you find any of them.
