My Inspiron 6000 won't turn on????

one night i accidently took the ram out while it shutting down. after that the screen is black and i have to hold the power button to turn off. From then when i turn on the computer, i don't hear anything running at all and the screen is dark black then it turn off after 3seconds. I only can see the power light come on during that 3 seconds. it happen ever time....anyone has any suggestion of what happen...i really need this laptop for my school works....thank you so much for reading..

So you took the memory chip out whilst the board was live ? Oh dear , i'm really sorry to say this and its not what you want to hear but chances are that you have damaged the motherboard.:dead:.

Your going to have to replace the motherboard to get it back and running again.

so you think is 100% sure that my motherboard is fried,,,do you think it damage any other devices..and also how do i know to buy a right motherboard.. any where on the laptop will tell me that...thanks again

Did you possibly buy the extended warranty from Dell?
