My new system spec. Is it good for middle range PC?

I have just bought new system for music and gaming. Plz tell me is it good.
I have spent 1300$ for my new Pc. I know my system is expensive with respect to my spec because i bought my PC from local store and hardware is expensive in my country Pakistan. Pakistani Currency is Rupees (Rs). 60 Rupees is equal to 1$ and I have spent 78000 RS for my new system.

1. Intel Pentium 4 3.0Ghz 2Mb L2 LGA 775 800Mhz, 630 For 194$
2. Intel Motherboard D915GAV (Lan model) For 100$
3. Kingstone 512Mb 400Mhz RAM For 55$
4. MSI Geforce 6600Gt 128Mb (TD128-E) For 242$
5. Creative SoundBlaster Live 24bit 7.1 For 39$
6. MSI TV @nywhere Tvtuner For 54$
7. Conexant 56K modem For 9$
8. Pasaris Casing + PSU original 350W For 60$
9. Seagate Baracoda 40GB HDD For 55$
10. LG Combo Drive CDR+CDRW+DVD For 67$
11. Edifier Home Theater 5.1 (woofers) R351 For 84$

Looks fine to me for most computing needs.

You should've gotten a CPU with less cache with a faster clockspeed. The L2 cache doesn't have a huge impact with games.

RayJon, on Newegg the lowest you'll find for such a part is $44 & that's from a worthy brand so it's not that much more expensive.
 
As you say you built it with gaming in mind, sometime down the road you are going to want to upgrade to 1Gb of ram. It will make a pretty big difference on that system.

Oh really?? lmfao yeah yeah I see. I have 1gb for 90 lol so its around the same price.
 
I already told that i have bought my PC from local store in Pakistan so my system is expensive.

Yes I ll buy one more 512 Mb of RAM soon.
 
now save some $ on software and download openoffice from openoffice.org

Mozilla, thunderbird, and sunbird from www.mozilla.org

get a free anti-virus from AVG.

no need for M$ office, outlook, or any of that crap.
 
The only other thing i would think would be a good upgrade would be a better power supply (have not had good luck with PSU that came with a case). Oh and yeah 512 more ram would help you out to
