Nd opinion on Graphics card...

Well i want to temporarily get a graphics card to play games.. Dont nd game to run too detailed but as long as game runs smoothly its cool.... My comp aint that gr8 too.. 2.4ghz, 512+256 ram, MSI motherboard...

I have selected a list of cards to buy within my budget.. pls recomend the best choice to me....

ATI Radeon X 1650 PRO Sapphire 256mb -Cheapest

We need to know if you have an AGP slot or a PCI-E slot. 2 of those videocards are PCI-E and one is AGP. The 2 are not compatible.

Of those 3, the 6800GS would be the best. Has more memory, decent core clock speed and most importantly has a 256bit memory interface (1650 has only 128). The X800 has the same memory bus but only 8 pixel pipelines vs. 12 for the 6800.

MetalX, all can be found in the AGP flavor. But Newegg has the X800SE AGP listed at $275 !
