Need audio help

I did download Unknown Device Identifiyer thing (from my freakin speakers wont work topic)...I found this:
Chip: Intel Corporation 82801DB AC'97 Audio Controller(ICH4 B0 step)
Then it had under Detail:
OEM Device from ASRock Inc

I need some help, what do I do now? Where do I download it onto my computer>?

I downloaded: Win98-RealTekRTL8139-810xFamilyPCIFastEthernetNIC because when I clicked on "Find Driver" of "Chip: Intel Corporation 82801DB AC'97 Audio Conrtoller(ICH4 B0 step)", I came to this site that showed me a download...I don't know how to open this setup though I've unzipped it, but I can't find the setup or it doesn't work...need some urgent help please

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Go to your mobo manufacturers website(AsRock) and download and install the correct drivers, including your chipset drivers, for your particular mobo model. In order to identify your mobo model, you can download the free Everest programme from HERE.

It did mention AsRock in the list, but didn`t specify a mobo other than it is an oem part. However it also mentioned Hewlett Packard as well.

If your machine is an oem build such as HP/Dell/Gateway etc, you can get the drivers from your computer manufacturers website.

If it`s a custom built machine, then you can get the drivers from the motherboard manufacturers website.

Never mind, my dad found a way...lol. You didn't even have to go through all that. Just needed windows xp cd and find the drivers, properties, then click reinstall drivers. Apparently the windows xp already knows it o.O

That`s good news.

However, I still recommend you go to either your computer manufacturers website(if it`s an oem build), or your mobo manufacturers website and download all the drivers for your system. Burn them to a cd for future reference.
