so this weekend after comming home from work i find that my son has downloaded something and after he opened it it restarted the computer. upon booting up it said the following file has not been found or is corrupted or something like that. the file is called hal.dll and the computer can no longer boot up.
i tried booting up and setting the boot sequence so that the cd rom boots first and i tried booting from a usb and even thought the dvd drive i had was the problem and wouldnt read the cd so i bought another one today. after all that i get the same error. DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER.
anyone have any solution to this problem?
