Need help choosing between these 2 computers!

i looked on best buy and circuit city and narrowed it down to two computers that i like for around $600. they seem to be good for doing the things that i would do with do with them (WoW, music, pictures). i want to be sure which of these is better in terms of processor speed before i buy. i'm going to buy a new ATI video card, so i wasnt worried about that, but i just wanted the opinions of all you geniuses out there. =D

which is more bang for my buck?
again, i'm going to buy a new vid card, so lets forget about that part =)

Are you sure you dont want to build your own system? You could probably get something better for the same price.

Oh no not a pavilion!!! They are reasonably well made pc's but i wouldn't touch one with someone else's barge pole.
If you want to put a graphics card into one straight away then you may also want to think about a new power supply unit (psu)for it too as the factory psu's are literally just powerful enough to run the machine as is. If you can find a decent psu that will actually fit in there that is!!
Ive had to fix 6 of those things in the last few weeks and don't rate them at all.

The 4200+ X2 is way better.

if i HAD to choose between the two, I would definately go for the 4200+ although like I stated previously I always recomend building your own system.
