Hi, All

I need help in choosing the best Motherboard and chipset compatibility for the system I'm building and upgradeable in the future.
This is the Gaming system I'm planing to build.

*Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600 2.4GHz
*EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS Superclocked / 640MB GDDR3 / SLI Ready / PCI Express / Dual DVI / HDTV / Video Card (640-P2-N825-AR)
*regular DDR2 memory (probably 4G)
*OCZ GameXStream 700W SLI Power Supply
*Seagate - ST3500630A - Barracuda 500GB 16M 7200 RPM IDE

I want to pick the best MOTHERBOARD available which would go with the above Components. My budget for the MOTHERBOARD is $200

Thank you

Check out Techspot's review of the Asus P5K-Deluxe:
https://www.techspot.com/review/56-asus-p5k-deluxe-wifi/
It's one of the newer motherboards using the P35 chipset.
It costs just a bit over $200 on Newegg, and its one of the high-end models in Asus's P5K series of boards.
Another one that's good is the Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6, which is basically Gigabyte's high-end P35 board.

Have you selected your RAM yet? You haven't listed it.
I assume you are using regular DDR2 memory, but you mentioned needing something "upgradeable in the future".

There are some good boards out there that support both DDR2 and DDR3 (so that it's upgradeable to DDR3 in the future), such as the Asus P5K-C or the Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R.

ASUS P5N32-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX, Ram 800 Mhz
2 x PCI Express x16 slot, support NVIDIA SLI technology, at full x16, x16 speed (blue) 1 x PCI Express x16, at x8 speed.
