need help on my multimedia audo controller cant hear anything

so its going to be hard to help ya without some of the hardware id. =) tell us about yer system first. upon initial diagnosing, make sure your audio drivers arent messed up. check in the control panel and look at the audio controller drivers and see if an error shows

Control Panel,Sounds and Audio.
This should be active to place volume control on Taskbar and test sounds.
Also to set volume.
If it's not,your sound drivers aren't installed.
Do your speakers have a volume conrol ?

sorry man is just that my internet lost connection ok the problem is that my cmomputer doesnt play any audio files and when i went to the control panel i couldnt intall my multimedia audio controller and all the other divices work but the multimedia says that it is not installed

Audio Controller

Thats not something you install,i'ts automatic waiting for the drivers.
See sysdm/hardware.BUT
Did you view my attachment ? Is yours useable ?
Like i said if not "That means the drivers aren't installed"
Do you have a driver cd ?

first u are going to have to install the drivers since u don't have a CD go to the Dell site and download the latest drivers for u're sound care or integrated sound.

Your only option then (You have to identify the sound
(pci card or internal (motherboard) that means a mbd cd.
It also has other necessary installations to work well.
So you'll have to go to the manufacturer and download them.
But that might only be an update to the cd you don't have,but
you should have
with any sound or video to operate.
What is it pci or internal ?
You have to have these items to operate a computer.Why don't you have
a cd ?
