Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

That system is absolutley riddled with nasties and it`s going to take time to clean it up.

Download the Pocket Killbox programme from HERE. Extract it but don`t run it yet.

You might want to copy and paste these instructions into a notepad file. Then you can have the file open in safe mode, so you can follow the instructions easier.

Turn off system restore.(XP/ME only) See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial56.html

Boot into safe mode, under your normal user name(NOT THE ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT). See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial61.html

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

Click start/run and type services.msc into the run box and press the enter key.

When the window appears, maximise it. Double click on the following services(if there) and select stop if they are running. Set the startup type to disabled. Click apply/ok for each service you disable.

Network Monitor
DvpApi

Close the services window.

Go to add remove programmes in your control panel and uninstall anything to do with(if there).

ntl Netguard<This is because you`re already running AVG and shouldn`t have more than one antivirus programme active at once. Also, NTL Netguard is absolute crap.

DeluxeCommunications
Starware347
VSAdd-in
Network Monitor

Close control panel.

Open your task manager, by holding down the ctrl and alt keys and pressing the delete key.

Click on the processes tab and end process for(if there).

issearch.exe
cproc.exe
r?gsvr32.exe<The question mark can be any random letter/number etc.
Dxc.exe
f023bedb6bb654875f4e27ea3fe1a514_35.exe
netmon.exe
dvpapi.exe

Close task manager.

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad). Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://as.starware.com/dp/search?x=wKX1ILEOi+Vh7AfA98Gm4Me69ZMbubcD/YOx16Q+SeWxr BRiqVkL73GYOwExqK27FBxDFf6x7NOvos+byinV0MuaMhSrtL9QyBhtcsqcBZHrHxRZrNUz/bzBqvBCd qTuQuFIGvdgq1rACL/0/UQIMHXDebbBzcy6/ktQoEkDLsuqrd8BsCF1Fw==

Somethings not right here.

Go and run the four tools as per the instructions in this thread HERE.

Once you`ve done that, post a fresh HJT log. It`s important that you get back to me as soon as possible, before the infections have time to reactivate themselves.

Do the following.

1. Please download The Avenger by Swandog46 from HERE. Save it to your Desktop and extract it.

2. Download the attached avengerscript.txt and save it to your desktop

Note: the above code was created specifically for this user. If you are not this user, do NOT follow these directions as they could damage the workings of your system.

3. Now, start The Avenger program by double clicking on its icon on your desktop.

Under "Script file to execute" choose "Load script from file".
Now click on the folder icon which will open a new window titled "open Script File"
navigate to the file you have just downloaded, click on it and press open
Now click on the Green Light to begin execution of the script
Answer "Yes" twice when prompted.

4. The Avenger will automatically do the following:

It will Restart your computer. ( In cases where the code to execute contains "Drivers to Unload", The Avenger will actually restart your system twice.)
On reboot, it will briefly open a black command window on your desktop, this is normal.
After the restart, it creates a log file that should open with the results of Avenger’s actions. This log file will be located at C:\avenger.txt
The Avenger will also have backed up all the files, etc., that you asked it to delete, and will have zipped them and moved the zip archives to C:\avenger\backup.zip.

5. Please attach the content of c:\avenger.txt into your reply.

when it reboots and post a fresh HJT log.

comeback up again because i couldnt remember what it said by trying to delete one
of the bad files but i didnt do it in safemode and it worked but on startup it
keeps saying error could not find keyzab.dll anyways heres that log file you asked for.

Now post a fresh HJT log as requested.

Regards Howard :)

It`s definitely looking better.

1. Please download Brute Force Uninstaller to your desktop.

* Right click the BFU folder on your desktop, and choose Extract All
* Click "Next"
* In the box to choose where to extract the files to,
* Click "Browse"
* Click on the + sign next to "My Computer"
* Click on "Local Disk C: or whatever your primary drive is
* Click "Make New Folder"
* Type in BFU
* Click "Next", and Uncheck the "Show Extracted Files" box and then click "Finish".

2. RIGHT-CLICK HERE and choose "Save As" (in IE it's "Save Target As") in order to download Alcra PLUS Remover.
Save it in the same folder you made earlier (c:\BFU).

3. Open My Computer and navigate to the c:\BFU folder.

* Start the Brute Force Uninstaller by doubleclicking BFU.exe
* Behind the scriptline to execute field click the folder icon and select alcanshorty.bfu
* Press Execute and let the program do it’s job. (You ought to see a progress bar if you did this correctly.)
* Wait for the complete script execution box to pop up and press OK.
* Press exit to terminate the BFU program.

Post a fresh HJT after doing the above.

Regards Howard :)
