Need help with Antispyware & Firewall

Just bought a new system & need to install a good Antispyware & Firewall.

How good are ewido antispyware & Zone alarm pro ?

I have installed NOD32 + Windows firewall + Windows Defender.

Any suggestions ?

Well a lot of people say that windows defender is next to useless. I used to use it, it said my system was clean, i changed to etrust pestpartol which then said i had over 30 infections. Oh, and at one point, defender suddenly decided that my dialler program was spyware and it removed it killing my Internet connection off all together.

Honestly you don't need to spend any money on those tools. Get the free Zone Alarm, it let's you know incoming and outgoing traffic, Spyware Blaster and AdAware are good free Anti-Spyware programs, install and update them both and you can add Spybot Search and Destroy which is good and free as well.

I have used them all and switched browsers to Firefox and I haven't had any Spyware/Viruses in a few years..

Ad aware and spybot S&D are good anti spyware programs.

AVG free edition is a good Virus program.
