Need help with Lighscribe on Vista Business 32x addition

I just upgraded my desktop to Vista and have been working though my programs checking for incompatibility. The latest snag is my lightscribe applications. So far I have been unable to install the LSS (Lightscribe System Software) found here.

When I try to install it, I get a 'Windows cannot find the system installer' message and it fails. My lighscribe programs will not work because they cannot identify the lightscribe software! It's getting kind of ridiculous - I am installing XP in Virtual Machine now because I have to get some DVDs printed and shipped. Does anyone have any suggestions?

BTW, I worked through the registry fix found here and it still won't install!!!

oh - I just figured it out! I had to run install the diagnostic program which somehow made it possible to install the LSS in compatability mode! Woohoo - now, does anyone know where to find that free version of Sure Thing that used to be downloadable?
