Need help with video card :)

Hi, I just bought a emachine t3998 with 2.93ghz processer, and want to get it a video card and more ram(it has 256) to play mmorpg's with. I went shopping for a card(mostly at newegg an tigerdirect) and got really confused.
My old pc was a 1.4ghz 384ram with a agp ati8500. I didnt see that my new 1 has only pci slots which i assume arnt pci express, do you think i should get a card with 256mb? All the cards seem to be only for pci express or agp. What card should i get??
also..is it possible for me to use a pci express card

If you only have pci, then you can only use pci. You can't use pci-e in a pci slot.(emachines was too cheap to put in an agp slot)

The best pci cards are the fx5700le 128bit, and the bfg fx5500 OC, and for ati, the 9100/8500 were good, but now, the 9250 is about all you can get.

Really, you aren't going to be any better than your previous machine if you use a pci card, which is the only option.
