Nerd alert

  1. Hi all.
    I'm what you call a Nerd or Geek, OLD SKOOL.
    No formal training so to speak, but enough knowledge to work in tech support for broadband internet and hosting services. So I know about how to set up a server and fix email issues, and connecting to the internet.

    Most times, tech support persons will have an answer to a problem, even if they tell you it is an unsupported issue (cough.. not mentionioning any usernames...) , just ask them what they would recommend based on their own knowledge base. (Don't blame the next guy for not knowing this, or say "Well the last agent I spoke to knew",)
