New CPU/Mobo Choices

Going to upgrade my CPU so i'm replacing the cpu and motherboard. I'm deciding between 2 different AMD cpus (If someone can help me decide)
Also I have listed the motherboard and fan I want. If someone can recommend a better one please do.

I also found a good Intel Core 2 Duo cpu in my price range, but someone told me that AMD was better for gaming. Not sure if that's true or not though. any suggestions?

I would go for the 6400+ it i sonly 50 more dollars...

yeah and since i'm buying my own fan i don't need the stock one. i also changed my motherboard to this one since the placement of the 4pin power connector, RAM slots, And x16 slots were bugging me. This one is only $10 more w/e. looks nice
