  1. Hello TechSpot Community,

I have just discovered this community and will be exploring its facets and features over time. I anticipate it will be useful to me over time, since I have a fairly involved network at home (pc-based MS O/S and LINUX; two hardwired terminals + wireless hub for laptops). I'm not a network engineer professionally speaking, so will probably find myself resorting here from time to time for your assistance. And yes, certainly, if I find I can be of help then I will do so. However - be advised that I am a software engineer primarily in Oracle database technologies and starting a new job, so I won't be watching the boards regularly.

    Howdy, welcome to TechSpot!

I'm currently using a Linux computer on a wireless network with my Windows desktop. I just started using Linux, but I do like it better than Windows; plus, it seems to be more stable.

Enjoy your stay at TS! :)

    Howdy, KitCat!
Thank you for the welcome note . . .
TS has already shown itself more warm & friendly than most oc's I've encountered thus far (about a dozen).
    Take Care!

We pride ourselves on being family friendly, and helpful. Sometimes there is a bad seed, but overall this is a GREAT place to hang out and get technology infromation.

Sit back, relax, and soak up some knowledge!
