New memory problem

ok so im a big noob and yesterday i tried to put ddr2 memory sticks in my ddr mobo and it started up but the monitor got no signal but the motherboard got power so i was like damn it dosent work so i went to put my old memory in and now the monitor gets no signal but the mobo does

This needs further clarification. Unless this board has sockets for both type DIMMs, then you couldn't have installed DDR2 in it. At least not without a hammer. The DDR socket has 184 pins erstwhile the DDR2 socket has 240.

Newegg doesn't list this particular board. But none of the ECS boards they do list show dual socket types. I checked ECS' site as well and didn't find the number you gave, I could have missed it. (easily)
