I just built a new pc. Kept my old hard drive which works fine with XP and Vista. Its only about 3 years old. anyway i turned it all on, booted from the XP installation disk, formatted the drive. Everything went grand and it said to restart. When it restarted it gets as far as the XP loading screen. (the black background with Windows XP Home Edition) then the loading bar thing jus keeps moving, like it loading somthing. I left it like this for hours and hours but noting happens. I've reformatted the drive a few times and tried it all again and again but it keeps stopping in the same place.
Could anybody help me with this or have any idea whats causing it?
