Your being a little vague.. What kind of system do you want? AMD, Intel?
What kind of games do you play?

well i was vague , because i dont know ... "they" say AMD i better for games and INTEL is better for the rest.....

so far i´ve had no complaints from my AMD PC...

but since this PC will have a different primary user (my brother) ... and he uses 3ds max , photoshop etc. at work ... he wants a pc which will be reliable to work at home as well (to him hardware stuff is from a different planet- he knows his software and that is it...)
he just got Call of duty 2 and on my pc the grafics are low... :)

    Ok, here's a start

    Cpu amd athlon x2 3800+. $325

Ram 2gb dual channel kit. $188

    Video card 6800gs $209

    Motherboard Msi sli board. $103.50

    Power supply Xclio 450w $59

    Hard drive 160gb sataII $87

Case black case. $43 (throw the power supply away that comes with the case)

    Windows xp pro. $148

Dvd burner lite on 16x $49

    Total ~$1211.50 (including shipping).

That should be a fast rig.

Edit: thought the price was $1300, revised now.
Also, not sure if newegg will ship to portugal or not. Anyway, the links can just be for reference if not.
