New RAM not working

Hi,Again,

I recently bought some new 1gb DDR PC3200 RAM 184 PIN, I already have 1 GB in there and wanted to upgrade it 2GB, My PC is still saying I only have 1 GB RAM, When I just added another 1GB to it, There is 2 blue slots and 2 White slots, I put the new ones in the White slots because the previous one was in the blue slots, Please Help

It may be one of those boards that takes DDR or DDR2 RAM. In which case you can only use one or the other, not both. If you have 4 modules and 2 are DDR and 2 DDR2 then only one is going to work.

So I wont able to upgrade to 2GB?

The slots are DDRA1, DDRA2, DDRB1 And DDRB2

I also got a Long Droning High Pitch Buzz for quite a while with all of them in
