New to board having trouble with internet

While surfing the web, I will click on one of the list of results and another website will appear not the site I clicked on. Sometimes it will take at least three tries to get the proper website to appear. Any suggestions. Thanks

The behaviour you describe could be caused by malware.

Go and read this thread HERE and post a HJT log as an attachment into this thread.

Thank you! It gets quite annoying when trying to open a site and it takes several tries and sometimes it won't let me go back to my original search, so I have to go back to my homepage and retype my search. Thanks again. Terry
