new video card

hi i am new to the site and have a question. i just bought an hp 8034n pc 2gb ram 300 watt power supply and onboard grahics i wou ike to upgrade to a pci express card can someone recomend a good card but one that will work with my power supply.i do some flight simming but i dont want to replace the supply.some have mentioned the radeon x1550, x1300 help please . thanks

You have options but you need to find out how good that 300w psu is. The easiest way is to look at the label on your power supply and get the wattage and amp figures so a good recomendation can be given. The Radeons do require more power than say Nvidia.

the power supply is a best tec and if i was to replace it how do you know which size you can buy dimension wise.?

How about the ratings on the psu label? Your going to have to open the case anyway to put a card in anyway.
Since it's a new model no info available on the net.
