Newb needing help..guessin bios

i just built a new game rig and im havin serious problems. i have a dfi lanparty ut sli mobo. im gettin a few errors when im tryin to install windows xp pro sp2.
first when i try to boot from cd im gettin disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter. ok not a big deal so i try to boot from floppy i get to the 4th disk and i get a file usbehci.sys could not be found error. whoa now im havin troubles so i now go and try to boot from windows 98 se boot disk and i get an error sayin cant find ntldr.exe. any suggestions on how i might fix these problems

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Go into your bios, and set the boot priority to floppy(if applicable), then cd-rom, then hard drive.

Put your Windows disk into the cd-rom and save and exit bios.

After your system reboots, you should be asked to press any key to boot from cd.

Press any key, and follow the onscreen instructions.

Yes, you were trying to boot from the CD when your system was set to boot from your unformatted HD.
