No internet connection when hooked up to router

My base computer or the ones trying to access the internet from the wireless router can't get the internet connection. When I go modem to base computer I can get internet but as soon as the router is in the mix nothing works. I have a motorola modem and a linksys router..I got it to work shortly last night after putting the linksys system disc in and woke up and I was kicked off line..any help will be really appreciated thank you.

"nothing works" means what?! The mouse doesn't move and the keyboard keys are stuck?

Did you read the Linksys manual?

have u tried to reset the modem and router for 45 secs?

i think a combination of putting the cd back in and the 45 secs it helped..thats for the feedback
