No longer saves resolution settings past 1280x800.. SHOULD be 1280x1024

My Windows XP Home edition no longer saves my resolution settings past 1280x1024! You know how it asks you "do you want to keep these settings" after you change your reso? Well mine no longer does that passed what i specified and i need it to stay at 1280x1024... Does anyone have any idea why it might be doing this or how i could somehow save my native reso! Thanks alot

You need to download (or maybe 'rollback') video card drivers. Something got messed up with yours. New ones should fix it.
