No power to motherboard after replacing Northbridge fan...

I had to replace the failing northbridge fan on my ABIT IC7-G, now I cannot restart the computer. I'm not even getting a power indicator light on the Motherboard itself. I'm REALLY hoping I didn't accidentaly fry the board or something.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Welcome to Techspot !
Anytime you go into your box there is a chance you have an accident, I'm sure you know.So I know your checked all connections including the little black switch on the back of the PSU.
If you are saying that you are not getting even the fans in your PSU turning, I would test another one first.

failing that be sure to check for shorting before ripping your Mb out.
Goodluck and let us know how it works out.

Thanks for the quick reply. Any idea how to go about checking for a short? I'm fairly competent with the hardware but when it comes to electricity I'm getting out of my depth.

A very close visual inspection of the screwheads where they touch the board. Your looking formetal contacting metal (very bad).
Sometimes it's best to test booting the Mb outside of the Case to check for shorts.
Let us know how it works out.
