No printing from IE

A computer I am working on for my boss absolutely refuses to print anything but but a mostly blank page from IE. all that gets printed is the page number at the top, and the file location and date at the bottom. Can someone help me out?

first prove that printing works from that system -- use Notepad.exe and issue
file->print

notice the printer being chosen and change it if necessary.

If Notepad will print, then test a simple webpage that does print, eg
www.google.com.

Once that prints, it is entirely reasonable that the URL in question is not
compatible with your browser -- happens all the time

Well it does print from notepad no problem at all. After printing that I went to google.com and couldn't print it... very sad.

the google page is trivial/simple; ergo you have a browser problem.

Yeah I have a browser problem. How do I go about solving this problem? Anyone know?
