Noob Upgrading Cpu Questions

I have a Dell XPS Gen 5 with a P4 LGA775 3.2Ghz chip. Was thinking of upgrading my CPU to dual core.

Is there anything else I have to look at as far as my mobo or power supply go in order to select the proper CPU?

Is it even possible to upgrade to this CPU with my current set-up?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

More details pls, whats the name of the motherboard, its possible that 3.2GHz might be the fastest you can achieve, and how much are you willing to spend, when it comes down to the point, money is always involved
